A Season of Giving!
Everyday Arts was founded with a single core belief - that ALL children, including those with diverse learning needs - deserve access to arts education. This Giving Tuesday, we’re inviting YOU to be a Champion of Equity for Students with Disabilities! With your support, we can create a future where students with disabilities have the same opportunities as their peers, and inclusive arts activities lead to social-emotional growth, academic success, and personal flourishing. By supporting them in graduating from high school, they are able to bring their full lived experiences and contribute to society in ways we can only dream of.
Sounds pretty good, right? Here’s how you can help!
Donate to our Giving Tuesday campaign any time between now (it’s never too early!) and Giving Tuesday, December 2nd.

Spread the word! We’ve put together a Social Media Toolkit with graphics, sample language, links/QR codes, and more. If you’re an extremely online person, you can use this to amplify our work! If you’re off the grid, let your friends know about our movement towards equity in whatever way feels right for you. As we always say, “One Size Fits None!”

Arts & Youth Grant!
Giving Season is already off to a great start, as we were just awarded an “Arts and Youth” grant from the California Arts Council. Everyday Arts was featured as part of a larger announcement of 679 awards for nonprofit organizations throughout California, comprising an investment of more than $19.5 million in support for the state’s arts and cultural landscape.
“Arts and culture are a powerful tool for community connection, well-being and a critical pillar of our state’s creative economy,” said California Arts Council Executive Director Danielle Brazell. “Funding to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations ensures the public has access to high-quality artistic and cultural programming reflective of the people of California. This funding is a vital investment in the state’s creative workforce, furthering that the power of art and creative expression can continue telling the stories of our communities. Congratulations to all grantees!”
Everyday Arts’ grant will directly support our work in Los Angeles Unified School District, providing arts integration classes to students with disabilities, as well as workshops for classroom teachers and bilingual workshops for families. We extend a huge Everyday Arts thank you to the California Arts Council, Governor Newsom, and the State Legislature for continuing to support arts education in public schools!
