  • Monday, August 18th - 10am-11am PDT (1pm-2pm EDT)

FAQ

Who is this workshop for?

  • Teaching Artists and Arts Specialists of all disciplines! We'll incorporate music, movement, theater, and visual arts strategies proven to increase student engagement.

What exactly are we gonna do?

  • We'll start with a quick Special Education overview, then introduce our "Guiding Principle" for increasing student engagement in diverse settings. Equipped with just a roll of aluminum foil, we'll do some artmaking together, and then each participant will have a chance to audit one of their own lessons and find ways to incorporate the material into their daily teaching practice.

So the content will be the same at each session?

  • Yep! Join for whichever hour is more convenient for you!

Do I need to bring anything?

  • Please have a roll of aluminum foil ready - no need to buy a brand new roll (you'll only need a couple feet of foil) so just grab whatever's in your kitchen!

Feel free to email us at Questions@everydayarts.org with additional questions. Hope to see you there!
